Must Read

AB InBev India has announced the launch of Corona Cero in India, introducing the global zero-alcohol variant of its iconic brand Corona to the country’s fast-growing non-alcohol beer segment. Priced at Rs 120, Corona Cero will be available across key modern trade outlets, leading e-commerce platforms, and select on-premises locations nationwide.

With this launch, AB InBev India strengthens its non-alcohol beer portfolio at a time when the category is witnessing rapid momentum. India’s non-alcoholic beer market recorded nearly 25 percent growth last year, while the company reported high double-digit growth in the segment, significantly outpacing overall industry expansion. The introduction of Corona Cero is aimed at meeting rising consumer demand for zero alcohol beer options that deliver premium taste and brand experience without alcohol content.

Vineet Sharma, Vice President – Marketing & Trade Marketing, AB InBev India, said the company is introducing Corona Cero at a time when Indian consumers are increasingly embracing mindful drinking choices. He noted that the product delivers the signature refreshment and flavour associated with Corona, while offering a zero-alcohol alternative for social occasions, weekday consumption, and lifestyle-driven preferences. The launch, he added, further advances the company’s commitment to smart drinking in India.

India’s emerging non-alcohol beer category is becoming one of the most dynamic beverage segments in the country, driven by changing consumption habits, growing health awareness, and demand for premium alcohol-free beverages. AB InBev India aims to expand accessibility of high-quality non-alcoholic beer across multiple consumption occasions, positioning Corona Cero as a premium zero alcohol beer for social gatherings, after-work occasions, and experiential events.

Corona Cero marked its cultural debut in India at Magnetic Fields Nomads 2026, held from February 13 to 15 in Rajasthan. The festival, known for its immersive blend of music, art, and architecture, served as a strategic platform for introducing the alcohol-free variant to a culturally engaged audience. At the event, the brand unveiled a premium sunrise bar experience designed as a daytime ritual space, aligning with Corona’s philosophy of unhurried living and authentic connection.

Further strengthening its presence in India’s evolving music ecosystem, Corona Cero collaborated with singer-songwriter Anuv Jain during his recent India tour. The association aimed to create immersive, alcohol-free music experiences, reinforcing the brand’s positioning around meaningful moments, mindful consumption, and premium lifestyle engagement.

The launch of Corona Cero in India also aligns with AB InBev’s Global Smart Drinking Goals, a long-term strategy focused on encouraging responsible consumption, shifting social norms, and expanding low and no-alcohol beverage options worldwide. With the introduction of Corona Cero, AB InBev India seeks to accelerate growth in the non-alcoholic beer market while promoting responsible drinking practices across the country.
