Wah! Foods marked the grand opening of its new outlet in Howrah with a resounding success, drawing in crowds that transformed Day 1 into a festival-like celebration.
As part of a spontaneous campaign titled “Puchka & Litti @9”, the brand offered the street-food favourites at a trial price point. What began as an experiment quickly turned into an overwhelming response. Within just four hours, the store generated 173 bills and served 535 plates of Puchka and Litti. Demand was so high that the team had to restock thrice to keep up with the footfall.
Customers waited between 40–60 minutes to be served, yet the excitement and energy remained unwavering. “In all these years of building Wah! Foods, I’ve never seen such an energetic crowd. It made me emotional yet the happiest and more confident than ever,” said Deepak Kumar, founder.
The brand attributed the successful launch to the spirited support of Howrah residents and the agility of its marketing team, which executed the campaign in just one day’s preparation.
With Howrah welcoming Wah! Foods with open arms, the company is now gearing up for its next launch at Girish Park.
