The Company has delivered a resilient performance during the second quarter and first half of FY 2026, maintaining profitability and strengthening operating margins despite a marginal decline in total income. Strong Beer Performance in Q2 FY 2026- SOM Group recorded significant traction in its beer portfolio during Q2 FY 2026, selling 36 lakh cases of beer across its key brands – Hunter, Woodpecker, Power Cool, and Legend. This performance reflects SOM’s strong market presence, rising consumer preference for its beer brands, and continued dominance in core geographies. The Company’s focus on quality brewing, deeper distribution, and brand-led consumer engagement has helped strengthen volumes despite industry-wide volatility. The strong beer performance further reinforces SOM Group’s position as one of India’s fastest-growing beverage companies in the mainstream and premium beer categories.

For the half year (H1 FY26), Total Income was Rs. 800.09 crore against Rs. 804.69 crore in the previous year, representing a marginal dip of 0.6%. The moderation in revenue reflects temporary market softness; however, underlying demand remains stable.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

GROSS PROFIT

  • The gross profit margin expanded to 41.06% in Q2 FY26 from 40.01% in the corresponding quarter.
  • For the first half of FY26, Gross Profit increased by 4.2% to Rs. 300.9 crore (H1 FY25: Rs. 288.88 crore), with the gross margin rising to 37.61% from 35.90% last year.

EBITDA Performance

  • EBITDA for Q2 FY26 grew by 15.1% to Rs. 40.52 crore as compared to Rs. 35.19 crore in Q2 FY25. The EBITDA margin expanded significantly to 15.0% in Q2 FY26 from 12.1% reported in Q2 FY25.
  • For the first half of FY26, EBITDA increased by 12.5% year-on-year to Rs. 112.57 crore. The EBITDA margin increased from 12.43% in the corresponding six months last year to 14.1% for H1 FY26.

Profit Before Tax (PBT)

  • PBT rose to Rs. 27.45 crore in Q2 FY26, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year’s Rs. 26.01 crore. The PBT margin improved to 10.17% in Q2 FY26 compared to 8.94% in Q2 FY25.
  • For H1 FY26, PBT stood at Rs. 85.83 crore, registering a 4.6% growth year-on-year, with a margin of 10.73% as compared to Rs. 82.05 crore in H1 FY25 where the margin was 10.20%.

Profit After Tax (PAT)

  • Net Profit for Q2 FY26 increased by 4.3% to Rs. 19.50 crore (Q2 FY25: Rs. 18.70 crore). The net profit margin for Q2 FY26 stood at 7.2%, compared to 6.4% reported in the same period last year.
  • Net Profit for H1 FY26 rose to Rs. 61.56 crore, up 3.9% from Rs. 59.24 crore last year. The Net Profit Margin expanded to 7.69% from 7.36% in the previous period.
