In a city that lives large and loves to dine out, every meal is a mood and every outing, an experience. That’s exactly what Burma Burma brings to the table: a flavour-packed experience that complements Delhi’s unmatched spirit. As a tribute to this vibrant, welcoming and ever-curious city,
Burma Burma, India’s only pan-India Burmese restaurant and tea room has launched 3 new restaurants simultaneously across the Delhi-NCR region: at DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj, at Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, and Worldmark 65 at Gurugram. With these additions, the restaurant chain now serves its award-winning Burmese cuisine across six locations in Delhi-NCR.
Apart of Hunger Pangs Pvt Ltd, the restaurant’s Burmese cuisine is re-imagined with contemporary flair – where every dish, drink, and dessert pays tribute to its people and culinary heritage. Its signature fare is inspired by Burma’s street food, tribal cooking, heirloom recipes, and dishes brought to life from the culinary team’s immersive research trips.
Design-Led Restaurants
Each new restaurant is a design destination in itself, thoughtfully created to reflect the textures, stories, and artistic traditions of Burma.
- At Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, the two-storeyed, 110-seater Burma Burma, spanning 6,302 sq. Ft., evokes a sense of awe with a soaring atrium crowned by a hanging pagoda installation and a hand-painted mural celebrating Burmese culture.
- At DLF Promenade, the 94-seater Burma Burma at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj spans 2,017 sq. ft. and pays homage to one of Yangon’s most iconic colonial landmarks -The Strand Hotel.
- At Worldmark 65, Gurugram, the 94-seater, 3,238 sq. ft., restaurant features a spacious indoor dining area, an intimate private dining room, and a dedicated tea bar. It channels the spirit of Mandalay through sculpted walls, faux jade inlays, and pagoda-inspired lighting.

Just like in Burma where every celebration unfolds over shared conversations and cups of Laphet Yay (traditional Burmese Pulled Tea), Burma Burma is helping Delhi experience the spirit of warmth and connection with its limited-edition Tea Shop menu – From Burma with Tea – available from August 1 to September 30, 2025 at the three newly opened restaurants. Inspired by the vibrant tea culture found in Burmese tea houses, the menu features traditional pulled teas (served hot and iced), crackling snacks, and soulful bowls made for sharing.
The special menu will be available at all outlets pan India from September 1 onwards.
An Experience of Burmese Food & Culture
Burma Burma, an ode to the people and culture of Burma, is an introduction to its cuisine through a modern, eclectic lens; one that blends traditional flavours with contemporary expressions.
The restaurant has on offer inventive small plates, moreish mains, refreshing beverages, and decadent desserts, all thoughtfully crafted. The cuisine is defined by its bold, sour, spicy flavours, with key ingredients like kaffir lime, balachaung peppers, sunflower seeds, and laphet (fermented tea leaves) infused to create a new world of culinary delights.

The menu ventures far beyond, offering a rich repertoire of Burmese delicacies and beverages that invite discovery with every bite.
Celebrating Burma’s Vibrant History
With every new location, Burma Burma deepens its cultural narrative, where cuisine is contextualised through thoughtfully designed spaces that reflect the people, customs, textiles, and artistic traditions of Burma.
Each Burma Burma restaurant presents unique aspects of its original country, and the interiors of Delhi’s new outposts are all designed by Mini Bhatt Designs, led by Principal Architect Minnie Bhatt.
