Must Read

Austrian coffeehouse chain Coffeeshop Company has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its first flagship outlet in Delhi through a franchise partnership. The debut marks the brand’s strategic move into one of the world’s fastest-growing café markets.

The brand, backed by the Eatery Group and Theophil Group, blends traditional Viennese coffee culture with a modern café-bar format that serves both specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages. Signature menu items include Viennese Melange, Long Espresso, espresso macchiato, cold peach berry coolers, iced coco lattes, and hazelnut caramel frappes.

Coffeeshop Company plans to expand aggressively across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, targeting a network of 100 outlets by 2029. The roadmap positions India as a potentially larger market than some of the brand’s existing international territories.

The entry comes as India’s coffee shop segment continues to attract global players, driven by rising urban consumption, changing lifestyles, and increasing demand for premium café experiences.
