Domino’s India enters 500+ cities, adds 80 new stores in Q2

Must Read

Domino’s India has crossed a major milestone by entering more than 500 cities in the country, and has opened over 80 new outlets in the second quarter of FY 2026.

Kapil Singla, Vice-President – Head of Business Development & Partner Management, Domino’s India, noted that the expansion covers both established metro zones and emerging smaller markets, including Diphu (Assam), Osmanabad (Maharashtra), Siwan (Bihar), Namakkal (Tamil Nadu), and Dausa (Rajasthan).

The brand also bolstered presence on university and transit-campus locations such as IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Jodhpur, NIT Calicut, and BITS (locations unspecified) to tap younger, convenience-driven customer segments.

Domino’s India emphasises that growth is not just about geography. According to Kapil S., “This isn’t just a number; it reflects our commitment to bringing quality food closer to communities everywhere.”

The company says it is pursuing a strategy of densifying presence in existing markets while entering ‘high-potential’ smaller cities and high-foot-fall nodes such as transit hubs, educational campuses, and malls.

This phase of expansion reinforces Domino’s leadership position in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) sector in India. The company will need to balance speed of growth with operational consistency, supply-chain robustness, and service quality in more widely dispersed, lower-density markets.
