But I often thought about establishing a business house of my own. After a lot of planning and careful consideration, I decided to launch a supermarket. My dream materialized on 7th March 1999, when I opened the first Vijetha Supermarkets’ store at Chandanagar, Hyderabad,” recounts Rao.
