Sula Vineyards celebrated the outstanding national success of its premium wine range, The Source, which has demonstrated strong growth in both volume and value across the country.
The Source continues to outperform expectations, driven by a loyal consumer base and increasing preference for approachable, high-quality Indian wines. The source brand clocked strong double digit growth in FY25, clearly reflecting its unique and strong positioning. The impressive growth of The Source brand is driven by six standout varietals, all delivering strong double-digit performance. Leading the pack is The Source Moscato, which has shown strong momentum since its FY24 launch and was awarded Gold at the Asian Sparkling Masters 2024. The Source Grenache Rosé continues to shine, earning a Gold at the Indian Wine Awards 2022, while The Source Cabernet Sauvignon continues to win over red wine lovers with its growing popularity.
Building on this success, The Source Chenin Blanc Reserve has gained wide acclaim, securing a Silver Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2023 and another at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. The Source Sauvignon Blanc Reserve, with its refined character, was recognised with a Silver at the Indian Wine Awards and the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 a true testament to its global appeal and remarkable quality.
Also gaining strong traction is The Source Pinot Noir, launched in FY24, which has quickly emerged as a consumer favourite. Widely appreciated for its finesse and elegant character, this varietal is fast becoming a standout in Sula’s growing premium portfolio.
Rajeev Samant, CEO, Sula Vineyards, said: “The Source range continues to tell a beautiful story of Indian winemaking refined, expressive, and accessible. Seeing such strong double-digit growth, especially in a category where consistency and quality are key, is a testament to the love our consumers have for these wines. From hotels to homes, and now defence canteens, The Source is truly finding its place across every setting where wine belongs.”
The Source has rapidly expanded its presence across key markets, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Goa, particularly gaining strong traction at our hospitality business at Nashik, Asia’s most visited vineyard where most people try their first glass of wine.
