SMOOR Marks 10 Years with New Bengaluru Lounge

Must Read

As SMOOR marks its 10th year, the brand continues to expand its footprint in Bengaluru with the launch of its new Lounge in HSR Layout. Spread across 2,450 sq. ft. on the ground floor, the new destination features 48 covers with both indoor and outdoor seating, bringing together SMOOR’s signature chocolate-led indulgence with an expansive new menu.

The HSR Lounge marks SMOOR’s 75th outlet in India and comes at a significant point in the brand’s journey. Founded in Bengaluru in 2015, SMOOR has grown from a single luxury lounge into a multi-format gourmet brand with 75 outlets and dark kitchens across India, spanning Signature Lounges, Cafés, Kiosks, Gifting Counters and an omni-channel gifting business.

The new HSR launch has a new all-day menu that expands SMOOR’s culinary offering beyond its chocolate repertoire. Designed to complement the Lounge’s relaxed yet elevated café setting, the menu brings together familiar favourites and globally inspired flavours across breakfast, small plates, dim sum, burgers and wraps, pasta, pizza, sushi, Asian bowls and mains. The selection includes dishes such as Hoon Twun Dumplings, Chicken Schnitzel, Panko Fried Prawns with Garlic Mayo, Crispy Lotus Stem in Honey Chilli, Gochujang Cottage Cheese Burger, Smash Chicken Burger, Mushroom & Tofu Dimsum, Ebi Maki Roll, Dandan Noodles, Thai Basil Fried Rice, Chicken Stroganoff and Teriyaki Salmon, alongside breakfast offerings such as a Raspberry Greek Yogurt Bowl, Banana Pancakes and Kheema Pav.

Speaking of the launch, Vimal Sharma, Founder & CEO, SMOOR Chocolates, said, “Our tenth year is a moment to look at how far SMOOR has come, while staying curious about where we can go next. Bengaluru is where our journey began, so opening the HSR Lounge in our anniversary year feels especially significant. With this space and our new menu, we are expanding the SMOOR experience into more occasions, from breakfast and lunch to evening dining and, of course, our signature world of chocolate. The idea is not simply to open another outlet, but to create a neighbourhood destination that reflects how people want to eat, meet and indulge today.”

With its indoor and outdoor seating, the space is positioned to cater to both planned dining occasions and everyday visits, serving as a destination for neighbourhood residents as well as HSR’s dynamic corporate and working-professional community.
