Ranjan Sharma, a retail technology and supply chain leader with over two decades of experience, has taken on a new role as Senior IT Director – Retail, Distribution and Food & Beverage at Alghanim Industries.
An alumnus of Calcutta University, Sharma holds an MBA from the American International University of Management & Technology along with a GNIIT degree from NIIT. His career spans leadership positions in technology, supply chain, and eCommerce within the retail sector.
Alghanim Industries, one of the Middle East’s largest privately-owned multinational companies, operates across 40 countries with more than 15,000 employees. The group has a diversified portfolio covering retail and consumer electronics, food and beverage, automotive, engineering, logistics, FMCG, advertising, insurance, and travel, among other sectors.
Sharma’s appointment comes as Alghanim Industries continues to strengthen its retail, distribution, and F&B verticals across the region.
