Cloud kitchen and food services startup chas acquired the pan-India rights for global doughnut and coffee brand Krispy Kreme, marking its expansion into North India with seven new retail outlets and four cloud kitchens in the Delhi NCR region. This move cements Curefoods as the exclusive operator of Krispy Kreme across India, bringing its total footprint to over 100 locations nationwide.
The acquisition follows Curefoods’ earlier purchase of the brand’s South and West India operations in December. Key new locations in Delhi NCR include Worldmark Aerocity, Select Citywalk Mall (Saket), Ambience Mall (Gurgaon), Promenade Mall (Vasant Kunj), and Mall of India (Noida).
Founder Ankit Nagori said the company aims to scale Krispy Kreme sustainably and innovatively across India, with Mumbai identified as a key next market. The move is part of Curefoods’ broader consolidation strategy, which includes previous acquisitions of Yumlane, a merger with Maverix, and securing franchise rights for Sbarro in southern India.
The Bengaluru-based firm is reportedly preparing for a $300–400 million IPO in late FY26, having restructured itself as a public entity.
