Madam Chocolate is carving a distinct position in India’s premium dessert market as a chocolate-first, experience-led brand, combining global patisserie-inspired craftsmanship with wide accessibility. At a time when over 40 percent of dessert consumption in India is chocolate-based, the company is addressing what it describes as a long-standing market gap the absence of a dedicated, high-quality chocolate dessert brand built for scale.
Founded by sisters Sushma Reddy and Shravya Reddy, Madam Chocolate was conceived with a clear ambition: to become India’s most loved chocolate dessert brand and the default choice for consumers seeking indulgent, visually immersive chocolate experiences. Unlike conventional dessert brands that treat chocolate as a sub-category, Madam Chocolate places chocolate at the core of every product and interaction.
The founders bring strong operational expertise from building large-scale hospitality ventures, including Mantra – The Luxury Wedding Destination and Nusa Tropical Brewvilla, Bengaluru’s well-known Bali-inspired F&B destination. This background has shaped Madam Chocolate’s focus on consistency, operational discipline, visual storytelling and experience-led consumption, enabling rapid yet structured expansion.
The brand’s portfolio includes signature offerings such as the Choco Melt Cake, Teddy Bear Chocolate Mousse, Panda Blackforest, Chocolate Tres Leches, Brownie Bites, Baby Croissants, and its globally inspired Kunafa Chocolate Bars, which have emerged as a strong growth category. Prices range from Rs 199 to Rs 1,299, positioning the brand as premium yet accessible. Select products and seasonal collections are launched as limited-edition drops, driven by global chocolate trends and strong consumer demand.
Madam Chocolate currently operates 13 outlets across Bengaluru, spanning a mix of dine-in stores and cloud kitchens. The company follows a robust omni-channel model, with the majority of revenue generated via online platforms including Swiggy, Zomato, Instamart, and Blinkit, alongside its pan-India direct-to-consumer website.
With rising demand for premium chocolate, globally viral desserts and experience-led indulgence, the brand is scaling steadily. Over the next six months, Madam Chocolate plans to launch five mall locations and two additional physical outlets within Bengaluru, followed by a phased expansion into other major metro cities across India.
In the long term, the company aims to evolve into a national chocolate dessert, celebration and gifting brand, spanning desserts, chocolate bars, ice creams and celebration cakes — positioning itself at the forefront of India’s fast-growing premium chocolate dessert segment.
