Foodsta Kitchens, the parent company of Nasi and Mee, announces the opening of Kokoro, a modern Japanese restaurant that invites guests on an immersive journey into Japan’s most beloved comfort food traditions. Rooted in authentic techniques yet reimagined for the contemporary palate, Kokoro brings together the soul-warming flavors of Japanese cuisine, celebrated for their depth, comfort, and rich cultural character.
The name Kokoro, meaning “heart” in Japanese, was chosen to embody the restaurant’s core philosophy: pouring heart into every bowl and creating a celebration of flavor, comfort, and the timeless joy of gathering over exceptional cuisine.

The menu features meticulously crafted Japanese dishes, including slow-simmered ramen broths with house-made noodles, hearty don bowls loaded with premium ingredients, and authentic Japanese comfort classics. Signature offerings include Tonkotsu-style Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, and Korean-style Ramen along with Salmon Rainbow Don Bowl, Chicken Katsu Don Bowl, and Tempura Veg Don Bow that redefine comfort dining. Beloved Japanese staples such as crispy Chicken Karaage and fresh sushi such as Kani Kuri Maki, and Spicy Salmon Maki.
