McDonald’s India CFO stars in a witty campaign for International Fries Day

Must Read

McDonald’s India (W&S) is celebrating this International Fries Day on July 11th by adding a generous golden crunch. It is offering free fries with the first 250 orders at all its restaurants in West and South India. Because frankly, some decisions are just made for the love of the iconic fries.

This refreshing offer is wrapped in a witty campaign starring the company’s Chief Financial Officer who is visibly puzzled. In the spot, he is seen crunching numbers, grappling with the reality that yes so many fries are going out for free. But some things are simply too good to resist like the universal love for McDonald’s fries. And once the fry lights go green, there’s no turning back.

The campaign conceptualised by DDB Mudra also spotlights different ‘Fries personalities’ among McDonald’s customers. From Fries Thieves to Fries Experimenters to Fries Hunters, and so on, because we all know at least one. This offer invites these Fries enthusiasts to take full advantage of this special offer.

This initiative, in association with McCain, will be valid at all McDonald’s restaurants in West & South on 11th July 2025. Customers simply need to place an order of any value to be eligible for free fries, with the offer limited to the first 250 orders per store. For those ordering through McDelivery, free fries will also be available on orders with a minimum value of Rs. 199.
