The hospitality and dining arm of the Bharti Family Office has announced the appointment of Rohan Pewekar as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership move as the group looks to accelerate its growth in India’s competitive restaurant industry.
In his new role, Pewekar will oversee the strategic direction and operations of the group’s restaurant portfolio, which includes globally renowned brands such as PizzaExpress, Chili’s, P.F. Chang’s, and Olive Garden. His mandate will focus on strengthening brand presence, driving expansion, enhancing guest experiences, and building capabilities to support the next phase of growth.
Pewekar brings nearly two decades of experience spanning strategy, finance, and operations across consumer-facing businesses. Prior to this appointment, he served as Managing Director for Pizza Hut – Indian Subcontinent at Yum! Brands, where he led operations and expansion across the region. He also held the role of Chief Strategy and Finance Officer for Pizza Hut India, contributing significantly to growth strategy, performance improvement, and channel expansion.
Earlier in his career, Pewekar worked with Samsung Electronics and Accenture, gaining experience in strategy, transformation, and operational leadership. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
