Swiggy has elevated Saurav Goyal to the position of Chief Operating Officer – Food Marketplace. In his new role, Goyal will be responsible for driving the growth and operational performance of Swiggy’s food marketplace, with a focus on strengthening business execution, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Goyal has held multiple leadership positions at Swiggy, building expertise across business finance, product, and operations. Before taking on his new role, he served as Senior Vice President – Driver and Delivery Product & Operations. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President – Business Finance and Vice President – Business Finance at Swiggy, where he worked across financial strategy, business planning, and performance management.
Prior to joining Swiggy, Goyal was associated with Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) as Senior Director – Business Finance and with Flipkart as Director – Business Finance. These roles gave him extensive experience in business finance, strategic planning, operational decision-making, and managing complex, high-growth businesses.
Goyal began his professional career at Tata Communications, where he spent several years across financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and business planning roles. His positions included Associate Director – FP&A for the DFM – Global Network, Cloud & Data Centre business unit, Senior Manager – FP&A for DFM – Global Network Services, and Manager – FP&A for DFM – Network Engineering, Operations & IT Systems. He also held earlier roles as Assistant Manager – FP&A across network engineering and IT systems functions, beginning his journey with the company as a Summer Intern – Business Planning.
