Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) has exited its exclusive partnership with Swiss luxury chocolatemaker Läderach in India, effective 6 January 2026, bringing an end to a collaboration that began in August 2023. Under the arrangement, DS Group was responsible for importing, repackaging, distributing, and retailing Läderach chocolates through boutique stores in key Indian cities.
The company said the decision followed a strategic review and was driven by a misalignment with its core values and long-term business vision. DS Group added that it will now sharpen its focus on strengthening its core confectionery portfolio, including scaling its homegrown brands, while Läderach’s future strategy for the Indian market remains unclear.
