Wow! Momo Foods, India’s trailblazing QSR brand, has launched FY26 with extraordinary pace—adding 80 new outlets in four months and entering 15 new cities, bringing its network to 780+ stores across 75+ cities. At the helm, Co-founder & CEO Sagar Daryani has laid out an ambitious blueprint: cross 1,000 stores and hit Rs. 1,000 crore in revenue by March 2026.

“We are thrilled to start FY26 on such a high note – while scaling at a pace few in the QSR sector can match. These 80 stores and entry into 15 new cities underline our ambition to make Wow! Momo a national pride,” said Sagar Daryani.
“The first four months of FY26 have also seen continued investment in product innovation, digital ordering with launch of our own app Wow! Eats, and building a solid tech stack for the back-end, ensuring that expansion goes hand in hand with strong unit economics, profitability and customer satisfaction. From Korean momos to launch of Gluten free momos with Chef Ranveer Brar; innovation and strong operational DNA remains to driving the scale for us at Wow! Momo Foods.”

FMCG Business Build-Out

Heading the brand’s FMCG ambitions is Mithun Appaiah, appointed CEO of the FMCG division and bringing over two decades of industry experience across Nestlé, Britannia, Sumeru, and more. His mandate: develop a “full-stack FMCG business” under the Wow! brand—spanning momos, sauces, noodles, and beverages—both for India and select international markets.

“For us FMCG is going to be the anchor of our next phase of growth,” Sagar Daryani emphasized.

Meanwhile, the brand is targeting Rs. 100 crore in FMCG revenue in the near term, driven by frozen momos and private-label innovation.

Digital Transformation: CTO Takes Charge

To boost digital agility and operational scale, Wow! Momo recently appointed Nimish Chaudhary—formerly VP of Engineering at Jubilant FoodWorks—as its new Chief Technology Officer. His focus areas include:

  • Building a multi-tenant, in-house food-tech platform for all domestic and international operations.
  • Enhancing the Wow! Eats app, modernizing store tech, and streamlining back-end operations.
  • Leading innovation from the newly opened Wow! Tech Innovation Hub at Google Campus, Gurgaon.

Daryani noted:

“His rich expertise in scaling digital ecosystems and building innovative technology platforms will play a critical role in shaping Wow! Momo into a future-ready, digitally powered QSR enterprise.”

FY25 Context & FY26 Roadmap

While comprehensive FY25 financials aren’t detailed here, key indicators show:

  • FY25 revenue: Estimated at Rs. 625 crore, up ~35% YoY.
  • Net loss: Holds at approximately Rs. 114 crore—a sign of scale-related cost pressures.

With a target of 250+ new stores this year, Wow! Momo is on track for 1,000+ outlets and Rs. 900–1,000 crore in revenues by FY26-end. Success hinges on translating the current expansion and innovation momentum into operational efficiency, digital engagement, and FMCG traction.

Wow! Momo’s FY26 is unfolding as a high-speed, multi-pronged value building play: expansive store growth, category innovation at the store and FMCG level, and tech transformation to support exponential scale. If execution stays sharp, the brand is poised to define the next chapter of organized food service in India.
