Sagar Saryani-backed Wah! Foods, the company behind Wah! Puchka and Wah! Litti, is aiming to reach an annual revenue of Rs 250 crore by FY30 as it expands its Indian street-food QSR business.

The company currently operates in Kolkata and Pune and plans to strengthen its presence in these two markets before entering more cities. It will follow a cluster-led expansion strategy, focusing on building a strong presence in one market before moving to the next.

Wah! Foods said it has already achieved profitability at the outlet level and has put standard operating procedures, centralised supply chains and technology-enabled systems in place. These systems will support the company as it scales up. The company plans to open compact outlets in high-street locations, backed by dedicated teams in each city.

“I’ve always believed that India’s biggest opportunities lie in organising categories that millions of consumers already love. Street food is one of them. The brand that can bring together authenticity, hygiene, consistency and scale has the potential to create an iconic consumer business. Wah! Foods is building with that vision, and I’m excited to back the founders and support their journey as an investor in my personal capacity,” said Sagar Daryani, Founder of Wow! Momo.

Along with expanding its QSR business, Wah! Foods also plans to enter the packaged-food category. The company will develop packaged products inspired by popular Indian street-food offerings.

Founded by Deepak and Ankita, who serve as CEO and CMO respectively, Wah! Foods operates multiple outlets across Kolkata and Pune under its Wah! Puchka and Wah! Litti brands. The company aims to bring regional Indian street food to more consumers while focusing on hygiene, consistency and convenience.
