Common House, Karjat’s first microbrewery, opens new outlet in Bandra

Must Read

After making its mark as Karjat’s first microbrewery and expanding to Mumbai’s T2 International & Domestic Airport, Common House has now arrived in Bandra – bringing farm-fresh brews, craft cocktails, and comfort food to the city’s favorite neighborhood.

Born out of the Ahuja family’s vision to create spaces where people gather over great food and even better drinks, Common House began as the cool, casual counterpart to Saltt at Oleander Farms. What started as a weekend restaurant grew into a fine dining destination, expanding into the larger Oleander Farms hospitality experience. Within it, Common House stood out as the all-day hangout – a laid-back microbrewery where conversations, music, and laughter flowed as freely as the beer.

In Bandra, the experience stays true to its roots: small-batch beers crafted in six 500-litre tanks over a 15-day cycle, transported straight from Karjat. Options include crisp lagers, Belgian wits, German styles, ales, and stouts. To match the brews is a menu that draws from the family’s culinary inspirations – part nostalgia, part exploration, and entirely indulgent. Think mutton adana kebabs tucked into warm zaatar pitas, wood-fired thin-crust pizzas with just the right char, peri-peri sweet potato fries you’ll keep reaching for, and even a reimagined cheese chili bread that’s equal parts familiar and new. European, Italian, Lebanese, Indian – every plate is designed to play well with a pint.

While the setting has changed, the essence remains untouched. The new outpost brings more than a menu, with its mix of craft, comfort, and community, Common House Bandra isn’t just serving food and drink – it’s serving a feeling.
