Allana Group, an integrated food and agri-business group, has elevated Manish Bandlish from Managing Director & CEO, Allana Consumer Products Limited, to Group Managing Director, Allana Group Ltd.
Bandlish will oversee the Group’s operations across India, Malaysia, Vietnam, the UAE, Egypt and Ethiopia. He will lead its strategy to increase turnover from the current Rs 24,000 crore to Rs 40,000 crore over the next three years. The growth plan includes investments in core businesses, additional manufacturing capacity, expansion into high-growth food categories, stronger consumer businesses and deeper international market penetration.
A key priority will be accelerating Allana’s protein business through investments in processing capacity, technology and infrastructure. The Group also plans to establish two greenfield plants to strengthen its integrated food processing capabilities. Allana is expanding its poultry presence through the Indian Poultry Alliance (IPA), a fully integrated venture backed by an initial commitment of $120 million, approximately Rs 1,000 crore.
IPA will operate across breeder farms, hatcheries, feed plants, broiler contract farming, value-added products and rendering facilities. The venture complements Allana’s established protein business and supports its ambition to build scaled businesses across multiple protein categories. The Group will also pursue growth across its portfolio, which includes frozen and chilled meat, fruit pulps, coffee, vegetables, grains, animal nutrition, pet food, hides, bakery products and ice cream.
Bandlish brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across FMCG, food, retail and large-scale operations. Before joining Allana Consumer Products in December 2025, he served as Managing Director of Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd.
He previously served as Chief Executive Officer & Director at JK Foods and held senior leadership roles at METRO Cash & Carry, Subhiksha and Marico. His experience spans manufacturing, sales, distribution, consumer businesses, retail operations and brand development.
Asim Allana, Promoter Family Member, Allana Group, said, “For over 150 years, we have been known for adherence to the highest standards in food processing and developing a robust global cold-chain food infrastructure. What started in 1865 as a small trading business in agri-based commodities has grown into one of the world’s largest food processing ecosystems. Allana Group is entering a defining phase of growth in India. With a renewed focus on Allana Consumer Products Limited, our ambition is to increase our group turnover in India from approximately ₹24,000 crore to ₹40,000 crore over the next three years. This reflects the opportunities we see across proteins, consumer foods and international markets. Manish’s experience in building and transforming large consumer brands and retail businesses will be invaluable in leading this accelerated growth phase of the group.”
Manish Bandlish, Group Managing Director, Allana Group, said, “It is an honour to take on this responsibility at an important stage in Allana Group’s journey. Our immediate priorities will be to rebalance our product portfolio by exiting low-margin business and certain strategic acquisitions. Over the medium to long term, we will strengthen the core protein business, build an integrated poultry platform, and accelerate our consumer brands and international businesses. “We are ready to cater to the evolving consumer and the emerging categories shaping the next generation of consumption. Along with our established strengths, we see significant growth opportunities in pet food, coffee, processed fruits, protein-led products, bakery and frozen foods. These high-growth categories will be key focus areas as we expand our portfolio, strengthen our value proposition and address the changing needs of consumers.”
