Restaurant Brands Asia, the operator of Burger King in India, has elevated Sumit Zaveri to CEO of its Burger King India business. The announcement coincided with the company’s Q2 FY27 financial results.
He was previously working as Chief Financial Officer at the company. Zaveri will report to Rajeev Varman, Whole-Time Director and Group CEO of Restaurant Brands Asia.
His previous roles include CFO positions at Nature’s Basket and Tata Starbucks. He began his career as General Manager – Finance at The Indian Hotels Company.
