Indian cricketers Ishant Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal have launched AQUON, a hydration drink mix aimed at supporting daily hydration and maintaining electrolyte balance for both sportspersons and everyday consumers. The brand marks its entry into India’s growing health and wellness market.

Marketed by Delhi-based Kiyas Lab, a DPIIT-recognised startup, and manufactured at Sapiens Labs in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, AQUON will initially be sold through its direct-to-consumer website.

The hydration sachets contain five essential electrolytes—sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium and chloride—along with eight vitamins, 500 mg of taurine and just 10 kcal per serving. Each sachet can be mixed with 300 ml, 450 ml or 600 ml of water, depending on individual preference. The product is available in four flavours: Strawberry Watermelon, Exotic Blueberry, Lemon Lime and Tropical Punch.

Speaking about the launch, Yuzvendra Chahal said the duo had wanted to start a business for a long time and eventually decided to launch AQUON.

Explaining the brand’s positioning, Ishant Sharma said the product is meant for everyone, not just athletes. He added that it contains electrolytes and a small amount of sugar, which helps provide instant energy when electrolyte intake causes sugar levels to drop. He also said the brand aims to help people stay hydrated and support those who experience cramps or low electrolyte levels.

AQUON enters India’s expanding hydration category, which includes oral rehydration products, sports drinks and hydration supplements offered by pharmaceutical companies, beverage makers and digital-first startups. The product is priced at Rs 299 for a pack of six sachets, Rs 399 for an eight-sachet variety pack and Rs 1,080 for a pack of 24 sachets.
