Sheraton Grand Pune Bund Garden Hotel announced the launch of KMCY, a contemporary fine-dining destination dedicated to the rich legacy of Sichuan cuisine. The restaurant’s name, KMCY, is an acronym for Kao (Roast | Grill), Men (Braise | Stew), Chao (Stir Fry | Wok Toss), and Yen (Steam | Poach), representing the four elemental techniques that define the culinary philosophy of Sichuan.

The name KMCY embodies the philosophy of “one dish, one style; each flavor, distinct,” inspired by the time-honored culinary traditions of Sichuan Province. The kitchen curates each dish with vibrant ingredients and layered aromatics—featuring bold chili heat and the electrifying numbing sensation of Sichuan peppercorns. From wok-tossed stir fries and comforting bowls of noodles to slow-brewed broths and succulent grilled delicacies, every plate tells a story enriched with signature elements like bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and star anise.
