Foodsta Kitchens has expanded its Japanese dining brand Kokoro with the launch of its third outlet in Bengaluru at Nexus Koramangala, less than a year after introducing the brand.
Kokoro was introduced to make Japanese cuisine more accessible to Indian consumers through a menu featuring sushi, ramen, donburi bowls, katsu, gyoza, and other Japanese favourites, with an emphasis on authentic flavours and affordable pricing.
Dilip Krishnan, Co-Founder and CEO, India Foodsta Kitchens, said, “We launched Kokoro with a simple belief—that authentic Japanese food shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions but should be something people can enjoy every day. The response we’ve received in such a short time has been incredibly encouraging. Opening our third Bengaluru store in under a year is a testament to the hard work of our teams, the trust of our partners, and the love our guests have shown the brand. We’re excited to bring Kokoro to Koramangala and remain committed to expanding the brand while staying true to our promise of quality, authenticity, and accessibility.”
Since its launch, Kokoro has focused on offering Japanese comfort food inspired by traditional recipes while maintaining accessible price points. According to the company, the new outlet supports Foodsta Kitchens’ strategy of expanding restaurant brands that align with evolving consumer dining preferences.
