On the extended 51-100 list, seven Indian restaurants made the cut, including Naar (66th), Farmlore (68th), Americano (71st), Inja (87th), The Table (88th), Dum Pukht (89th), and The Bombay Canteen (91st). Farmlore also received the prestigious “One To Watch” award.

The top spot in Asia’s 50 Best went to Gaggan, Bangkok, the acclaimed progressive Indian restaurant by Chef Gaggan Anand. Another of his ventures, Gaggan at Louis Vuitton, Bangkok, also made the list.

The 50 Best rankings, curated by UK-based William Reed Business Media, celebrate the finest restaurants and hotels worldwide. The global list will be announced later this year.
