<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jaipur-based QSR coffee chain Nothing Before Coffee (NBC) has secured Rs 3.7 crore in on-air funding commitments following its appearance on Bharat Ke Super Founders, streamed on Amazon Prime Video and MX Player. The capital infusion comes as the company sharpens its focus on scaling across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, where it sees the next phase of India’s consumption growth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The funding includes Rs 50 lakh for 0.27 percent equity from Aditya Singh, Founder of All In Capital, along with a structured debt offer of Rs 3.2 crore carrying a 12 percent revenue share. Investors cited the brand’s disciplined unit economics, consistent store-level profitability, and clearly defined national expansion roadmap as key strengths.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Founded in 2017 by Akshay Kedia, Ankesh Jain, Anand Jain and Shubham Bhandari, Nothing Before Coffee has built a mass-premium coffee retail model focused on non-metro India. The company currently operates over 100 outlets across 39+ cities in 12 states and plans to expand to 160 stores by December 2026. It has outlined a long-term target of 400 stores by 2029, primarily under a COCO (Company Owned Company Operated) structure to retain operational control and margins.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NBC reports 65 percent gross margins at the store level and 28 percent EBITDA margins at mature outlets, with 100 percent of stores operating EBITDA positive. Its vertically integrated supply chain — sourcing beans from Chikmagalur, roasting in-house at its Jaipur facility, and distributing through a centralized warehouse model — underpins cost efficiencies and quality consistency across locations.</p>

The company’s signature ‘Shrappe’ (Shake + Frappe) and youth-centric café formats have helped it differentiate within the competitive QSR coffee segment.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In addition to physical expansion, the company has launched the Super Coffee Pass subscription, priced at Rs 1,799 with benefits worth Rs 3,600, as part of a broader strategy to drive recurring revenue, digital engagement, and customer retention. It is also investing in app-led loyalty programs, product innovation, and backend supply chain optimization to support scalable growth.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">India’s dynamic and fast-growing QSR coffee chain, Nothing Before Coffee (NBC), has raised $ 2.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round, led by Prath Ventures. The round also saw participation from SYL Investments. This marks a major milestone in NBC’s journey as it continues to redefine India’s café culture by focusing on Tier-II and Tier-III cities—a segment largely untapped by premium coffee players. Additionally, NBC is pleased to report its “Best-ever Fiscal year 2025.” Fueled by new store launches, innovative offerings, and growing brand loyalty. The brand’s seasonal offerings and unique brews have been particularly well-received, contributing to this growth.</p>

The QSR chain is on a fast-paced growth trajectory, aiming to establish 150+ NBC stores across India by FY2026, further strengthening its presence in metropolitan hubs and expanding deeper into Tier-I and Tier-II markets. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jaipur-based quick service restaurant (QSR) chain Nothing Before Coffee (NBC) is targeting to launch 400 new outlets worldwide in the next three years, including 150 locations across Europe, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The expansion will kick off with flagship stores and expansion in two international markets. The value-focused coffee brand will also open 80 new outlets by the end of 2025.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NBC was established in 2017 by school friends Akshay Kedia, Anand Jain, Ankesh Jain, and Shubham Bhandari. It offers more than 100 beverages across different categories with coffee as the core product.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Since opening its first outlet in Jaipur, the brand has expanded to 65 outlets across cities such as Delhi, Pune, Udaipur, Kota, Surat, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala, Nagpur, Bikaner, Bhopal, Indore, and Lucknow.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In May 2024, the company made its foray into the global market with its first outlet in Portugal.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, the company celebrated its seven year anniversary and opened four new stores at Delhi Mumbai Expressway, Ghaziabad, New Delhi and Pune.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“Completing seven years is a momentous achievement that brings with it great responsibility,” said co-founder Kedia. “Our goal is to sustain our brand’s legacy, meet customer expectations, and continuously offer compelling reasons for our patrons to keep coming back.”</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Less than two months ago, NBC announced that it is targeting to achieve Rs 100 crore revenue run rate by the end of fiscal year (FY) 2025.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">India’s fast-growing coffee chain, Nothing Before Coffee (NBC), is celebrating its 7th anniversary with an exclusive promotion and exciting loyalty rewards for its customers. This milestone comes alongside the opening of four new stores at Delhi Mumbai Expressway, Ghaziabad, New Delhi, and Pune.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NBC began its journey with its first outlet in Jaipur and has since established a strong presence across major Indian cities, including Delhi, Pune, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota, Surat, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Nagpur, Bikaner, Bhopal, Indore, and Lucknow. Additionally, NBC is enhancing the customer experience with new app features and loyalty rewards. For every Rs 100 spent, customers will earn Rs 10 in cash loyalty points, which can be redeemed through the NBC app. The app also offers a range of convenient features, including the ability to place multiple orders, access exclusive deals, and manage purchases either at the store or through pre-orders. The store spans 550-600 sq. ft. of retail space and offers ample indoor seating for coffee enthusiasts to relax, work, or socialize while enjoying their brews along with a diverse menu boasting over 100 meticulously crafted beverages, including the famed ‘Shrappe’ – a delightful fusion of frappe and shake.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Established in 2017 by school friends Akshay Kedia, Anand Jain, Ankesh Jain, and Shubham Bhandari, with a focus on providing high-quality coffee and creating welcoming spaces, the Coffee brand has gained a loyal customer base in India. NBC delivers quality coffee experiences, captivating patrons not only in Jaipur but across 10 states and 26 cities. The coffee retailer has set itself apart through its commitment to infuse joy in every sip.</p>
