Nemisha Ghia has an extensive career of over 22 years in the retail and food industries. Her journey includes significant roles with well-known brands like Reliance Retail, Mondelēz International, Amazon, Swiggy, and Welspun Group. At Mondelēz International, she spent more than nine years building a strong foundation in the FMCG sector, ultimately serving as Branch Manager for the East Zone.

Nemisha’s passion for developing people and building brands is evident throughout her career. Prior to her new role, she was the Chief Operating Officer at More Retail Private Limited, where she established the company as a customer-centric omniretailer.  She was also a key member of the Leadership Team at Swiggy and served as CEO for the Domestic Textiles Business at Welspun Group.

She holds a B.Pharmacy degree from S.N.D.T University and is an alumnus of NMIMS. Beyond her professional achievements, Nemisha is dedicated to environmental conservation and actively volunteers with various local and national foundations.

Kainaz Khambata brings 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having honed her expertise across hotels and later in the retail F&B sector. Her focus on people and product aligns seamlessly with the values of Good Flippin’ Burgers. Eunice Evans, with over 20 years in the retail sector, has developed a deep understanding of consumer psychology and behavior, making her a valuable addition to the brand’s marketing efforts.

Founded in 2019 by Viren DSilva, Sijo Mathew, and Sid Marchant, Good Flippin’ Burgers has rapidly expanded, employing over 350 people. The brand has established a significant presence with 20 outlets in Mumbai, 11 in the Delhi NCR region, and 3 in Pune.

With over three decades of experience in lifestyle and retail sectors, Mitra joins a group of independent directors at Swiggy, including Anand Kripalu, MD & Global CEO at EPL Limited and Chairperson of the Swiggy board, Shailesh Haribhakti, Chairman of Shailesh Haribhakti & Associates, and Sahil Barua, Managing Director & CEO at Delhivery.

Mitra’s educational background includes a degree in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta. She embarked on her professional journey as a management trainee at Hindustan Lever Limited, subsequently transitioning to Titan where she held various marketing roles, both internationally and domestically. Later, she joined Talisma Corp as a Director in Product Marketing and with a couple of other experiences, she returned to Titan, ascending to the position of Global Marketing Head and later as the CEO. Under her leadership, Titan’s watches and wearables division achieved a significant milestone, surpassing the Rs 5,000-crore mark in annual turnover in FY23.
