iD Fresh Food has forayed into the INR 25,000 crore branded spices market with the launch of three distinctive spice variants – Pure Spice – Red Chilli Powder, Blended Spice – Garam Masala, and Sambar Powder. With the new venture, iD Fresh aims to achieve a significant share of the market.

With a commitment to delivering clean and preservative-free food, iD Fresh Food new spices are crafted without synthetic additives or chemicals. Adhering to rigorous FSSAI standards, each batch is tested for high-risk pesticide residues and undergoes 20 quality checks from farm to final product. iD Fresh Food guarantees that its spices are free from chemical treatments and adulterants, thus ensuring exceptional quality.

The new iD Fresh Food spices will initially be available in Bangalore retail stores starting this month, with plans for a gradual rollout to other major markets.

Rajat Diwaker – CEO (India) of iD Fresh Food, shared, “Innovation has always been at the core of iD Fresh Food’s products. Our packaging for these spices preserves their freshness, flavour, and aroma for up to 12 months without the need for chemical treatment. To maintain our commitment to transparency and clean labelling, each spice packet includes a QR code that provides access to pesticide test and quality check reports, giving consumers easy access to detailed information about the product’s quality. After dedicating many months to the development of these spices, we are thrilled to enter this new category. Our goal is to capture a significant market share and set a new standard with our clean and natural ingredients.”

Enakshi, Head of New Product Development of iD Fresh Food, emphasized the company’s values, stating, “Our new range of clean label spices embodies the same principles that our customers trust us for—no preservatives, no chemicals, and only natural ingredients. To ensure top quality and taste, we spent months crafting these spices, collaborating with experts and consumers. We maintain purity through strict control over sourcing, processing, quality checks, and packaging. We are confident that by upholding these standards, we will make a notable impact in the spices market and meet the needs of every Indian kitchen sustainably. “

Each spice variant is packaged in a way that extends its shelf life to 12 months without chemical treatments. Given the volatile nature of spices, each iD spice pack includes pouches to preserve freshness, flavor, and aroma. For transparency, every packet features a QR code providing access to pesticide test and quality reports, ensuring consumers can trust the product’s integrity. The 100g packets are designed with five individual 20g pouches, ensuring prolonged freshness and flavour. The price points are as follows: Red Chilli Powder at INR 78, Sambar Powder at INR 100, and Garam Masala at INR 135.

Sbooch, a new-age kombucha brand, today announced its official launch at an event with Suniel Shetty in Mumbai entering the Indian beverage market, aiming to fill this exact gap. Founded by Niraj Manek and Kajall N Manek, Sbooch is set to disrupt the industry with its line of all-natural, preservative-free kombucha drinks.

Key Features of Sbooch Kombucha

Made with all real farm-produced fruits, vegetables and raw ingredients

No artificial flavours or preservatives

Sugar content is less than 4 grams of natural sugar per 100 ml serving, which is used for fermentation

Up to an 18-month shelf life without preservatives

Flavours inspired by the palate of India’s rich culinary landscape

“We’re not just launching a drink; we’re introducing a new KULTURE,” said Niraj Manek, Founder of Sbooch. “Our kombucha is real in every sense—made with raw fruits, vegetables, and ingredients, no artificial additives, and less than 4 grammes of natural sugar that’s produced during fermentation. We’re excited to offer Indian consumers pure, unadulterated goodness with no marketing jargon or lies, with any gray filled with clutter.”

Kombucha is one of the oldest drinks in the history of mankind, dating back up to 5000 years and originated in the eastern part of Japan. Now, Sbooch is bringing this ancient fermented tea to modern India, with a twist that sets it apart from anything else on the market. The brand offers a range of flavours that take consumers on a journey across India, touching Kulture with every sip.

Chef Niyati, the culinary mastermind and founder at Ekaa, behind Sbooch, has crafted an array of unique flavours that capture the essence of the Indian palate and diverse culinary traditions, from North to South and East to West. Among them are Koshimbir from Maharashtra, Gor Keri from Gujarat, and Tulsi Lemon from Uttar Pradesh, among others.

Sbooch has associated with Bollywood actor and fitness icon Suniel Shetty as a partner in this gut-health revolution. At 62, Mr. Shetty’s endorsement of Sbooch speaks volumes about the brand’s appeal to health-conscious individuals across all age groups, from toddlers to grandparents, and to coming generations.

“Being health-conscious, I saw the necessity for a ‘Wholesome and Guilt-free drink loved by our Gut’, suitable ‘for all ages’, ‘Made in India’, and composed entirely of natural ingredients,” explained Shetty, reflecting on today’s beverage market. “Sbooch presents a realm of authentic flavors and ingredients. Discovering a local brand that delivers a delightful, all-natural beverage option is truly refreshing.”

While kombucha is known for its potential gut-friendly and immunity-boosting properties, Sbooch isn’t positioning itself solely as a health brand. Instead, it’s marketing itself as a clean, real, unadulterated alternative in India’s beverage landscape—one that happens to be good for you and aids your well-being!

Sbooch has adopted a unique drop-marketing strategy through the unique web interface of their website (sbooch.com). The dates of drop-offs will be featured soon on their web and social media pages for all the potential and valued customers across India to pre-book their Sbooch. There are plans for rapid expansion through other e-commerce and retail platforms in the coming months.

FMCG Food products manufacturer The Health Factory, which was founded in 2018, has expanded its Zero Maida Range product portfolio with the launch of four news products. To make breakfast and healthy snacking even more convenient for consumers, straight from the oven, the newly launched range is available in four key variants – Zero Maida Protein Bread, Zero Maida Pizza Base, Zero Maida Burger Bun, Zero Maida Milk Bread.

These additions mark a significant milestone in The Health Factory’s mission to promote healthier dietary choices. Based on this, we decided to expand the Zero Maida Range to match the changing demand of new-age consumers. With our new range of healthy products, we will be catering to the needs of every age group.”

He added that the company expects 2x revenue growth after the introduction of the new SKUs. “Th new products are expected to contribute up to 15% of the overall revenue. We are aggressively marketing these products.”

In addition to being maida-free, The Health Factory’s new products are free of artificial additives, preservatives, and trans fats, making them an ideal choice for individuals seeking clean label options. By harnessing the power of natural ingredients and innovative food technologies, The Health Factory continues to redefine the landscape of healthy, guilt-free eating.
