Kkhavo is developing a portfolio of clean-label foods, heritage staples and nutrition-led products, focusing on traceable sourcing, farmer relationships, responsible agricultural practices and stringent quality controls. Beginning with heritage grains, the brand plans to expand into premium foods, functional foods and nutraceuticals.

Its first offering, premium Kala Namak rice, is a GI-registered heritage grain cultivated for over 2,500 years in Uttar Pradesh’s Terai region. With a low glycemic index of 49–53, Kala Namak rice is positioned as a diabetic-friendly choice. It is rich in iron and zinc, contains antioxidants and dietary fibre, and is naturally gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan.

Founded by Mudit and Minal Goel, Kkhavo draws upon their ancestral roots in the heartland of Kala Namak cultivation, more than two decades of experience in international markets and third-generation relationships with farming communities. Its integrated farm-to-mill supply chain includes direct farm sourcing, in-family milling and quality oversight at every stage, helping ensure authenticity and consistency across batches.
