McDonald’s India (W&S), owned and operated by Westlife Foodworld, has introduced a McCafe coffee subscription that is designed around how consumers actually live, work, and unwind today, offering one of the strongest value propositions in the QSR coffee space.

Available exclusively on the McDonald’s app, the subscription is priced at Rs. 549 for 10 cups, offering a thoughtfully designed value of Rs. 55 per cup, delivering 72% more value compared to single-cup purchases. The subscription gives customers complete flexibility to enjoy their coffee together, spaced out over time, or across multiple visits, making it easy to fit into evolving daily routines.

The response to the McCafé Subscription model highlights a clear shift in consumer behaviour. With over 25,000 subscriptions already claimed, the offering is resonating with a growing segment of consumers who are embracing coffee not just as an occasional indulgence, but as a regular, multi-occasion habit. As India’s coffee culture expands beyond cafes and into everyday moments, formats that offer choice, transparency, and repeat value are gaining traction.

The subscription can be purchased on the McDonald’s app and will be valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. Once purchased, customers can redeem all 10 the same day, or even space it out over the course of the month.

McDonald’s India (W&S) is celebrating this International Fries Day on July 11th by adding a generous golden crunch. It is offering free fries with the first 250 orders at all its restaurants in West and South India. Because frankly, some decisions are just made for the love of the iconic fries.

This refreshing offer is wrapped in a witty campaign starring the company’s Chief Financial Officer who is visibly puzzled. In the spot, he is seen crunching numbers, grappling with the reality that yes so many fries are going out for free. But some things are simply too good to resist like the universal love for McDonald’s fries. And once the fry lights go green, there’s no turning back.

The campaign conceptualised by DDB Mudra also spotlights different ‘Fries personalities’ among McDonald’s customers. From Fries Thieves to Fries Experimenters to Fries Hunters, and so on, because we all know at least one. This offer invites these Fries enthusiasts to take full advantage of this special offer.

This initiative, in association with McCain, will be valid at all McDonald’s restaurants in West & South on 11th July 2025. Customers simply need to place an order of any value to be eligible for free fries, with the offer limited to the first 250 orders per store. For those ordering through McDelivery, free fries will also be available on orders with a minimum value of Rs. 199.

McDonald’s India (W&S), operated by Westlife Foodworld, has launched Crispy Fried Chicken as part of its strategic effort to strengthen its Fried Chicken portfolio in the South Indian market. This new product is set to elevate the brand’s chicken offerings in the region.

To promote the launch, McDonald’s India has collaborated with popular Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep, who is the face of the new campaign, “Let the Crunch Takeover.” The campaign, conceptualized by DDB Mudra Group, features a TVC starring Kiccha Sudeep enjoying the Crispy Fried Chicken while highlighting its signature crispy texture.

Commenting on the new campaign, Arvind R.P., Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s India (W&S), said, “At McDonald’s, we are constantly strengthening our menu portfolio to offer a variety of chicken products for our customers in the Southern markets. Our new Crispy Fried Chicken with the campaign featuring Kiccha Sudeep is a testament to this strategy. His expansive fan base and connection with our core audience in this region will drive strong consumer engagement and preference for our offerings.”

Over the years, McDonald’s India has strategically leveraged celebrity culture. The brand has previously been associated with other popular South Indian actors like Rashmika Mandanna and Jr. NTR. These collaborations have helped McDonald’s India effectively connect with its core audience and enhance brand affinity in the South Indian market.

The new Crispy Fried Chicken has a unique crunch and juicy texture, perfected through an in-house preparation process. This offering is now available across McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Southern regions. Customers can enjoy this crispy offering for dine-in, on-the-go Drive-Thru, and through McDelivery.
