Roy joined Coca-Cola in 2001 as a Manager in Media Planning and Consumer Activation for the India Business Unit. Over the past two decades, he has held various roles and responsibilities, including Category Head, Brand Head, Senior Marketing Director, and more.

Roy will succeed Selman Careaga as President of the Global Category and will report to Manolo Arroyo, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer of the company.

As the head of marketing for the India and South West Asia operating unit in 2021, Roy played a crucial role in driving double-digit growth for the business and consolidating share leadership in the sparkling and juices categories.

His proven track record,  positions him well to lead Coca-Cola’s global category. His leadership is expected to further strengthen Coca-Cola’s market presence and innovation on a global scale.
