<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>abcoffee</strong>, India’s leading grab-and-go coffee chain, has raised <strong>Rs. 61 crore </strong>in a<strong> Pre-Series B funding round </strong>led by <strong>Kliff Ventures</strong>, the newly launched consumer retail fund created by <strong>K Hospitality Corp</strong>. The round also saw participation from Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures, Merisis Venture Fund and Stride Ventures.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The fresh capital will be used to accelerate abcoffee’s cluster-led expansion across existing and new markets. The brand will continue to deepen its presence across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru, while expanding into high-density office, residential and transit-led micro-markets where high-quality coffee remains underserved.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A significant portion of the capital will also be deployed towards technology, customer engagement, subscriptions, back-end infrastructure, supply chain strengthening, product innovation and operational excellence. Technology remains central to abcoffee’s model. Today, 54% of all takeaway orders are placed through the abcoffee app, supported by strong traction across subscriptions, pre-orders and digital channels. abcoffee’s subscription ecosystem accounts for 50% of all app orders and pre-sells more than 40,000 cups of coffee and beverages every month for consumption over the following 30 days.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Founded in 2022 by Abhijeet Anand, abcoffee currently operates more than 90 outlets across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru through compact, high-efficiency formats designed for daily coffee consumption. The brand is built on a single conviction: exceptional coffee shouldn&#8217;t come at a premium. Every cup is brewed from single-origin beans. The menu is designed to make quality coffee, matcha and protein beverages a daily ritual, not an occasional indulgence.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The business delivered strong momentum in FY26, with revenue doubling year-on-year and store EBITDA growing 193.2% YoY, reflecting a clear path towards profitable scale. The company has also seen deep customer loyalty, with a 60% high-frequency repeat rate.</p>

As the crown jewel of the brand’s expansion strategy, this flagship store is set to redefine the coffee culture in the capital, blending modern design with a rich cultural heritage. This milestone opening was accompanied by the launch of 4 more outlets in Jaipur (near Jal Mahal), Surat, Bangalore (Bannerghatta), Dehradun, and Gwalior, marking NBC’s rapid nationwide growth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">NBC currently has 75 outlets throughout India; wherein the company added 35+ new outlets in 2024 offering an exclusive opportunity for people across regions to enjoy high-quality, flavorful brewed coffee and beverages at economical prices. Located on the Ground Floor, Outside Domestic Arrivals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, this&nbsp;launch marks&nbsp;another significant step in Tim Hortons’ expansion strategy across India, bringing its coffee and&nbsp;treats to the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new outlet opens 24X7, offering a range of signature 100% premium Arabica coffee, refreshing beverages, and made-to-order food options&nbsp;including&nbsp;its famous Frozen French Vanilla, Cheese Melts, Donuts&nbsp;and&nbsp;Timbits, among other delectable offerings.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A standout feature of this store is the glass facade donut station, where customers can watch the freshly prepared and decorated donut.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">US-based coffee chain Starbucks has inaugurated its fifth store on VP Road in Surat, Gujarat, marking its 23rd outlet in the state and highlighting its rapid expansion. Situated at the International Wealth Centre, this new building has&nbsp;been designed&nbsp;by Surana Developers and reflects&nbsp;Starbucks&#8217;&nbsp;commitment to growth.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“We are excited to announce the launch of our new store in the diamond capital of the world – Surat, Gujarat. It’s incredible to start off this fiscal year with the grand opening of a new store within the very first month,&#8221; posted <strong>Niyati Shah, </strong><em>Assistant Manager, Business Development, &nbsp;Starbucks India</em>, on her Linkedin handle.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The coffee retailer recently achieved a significant milestone by opening its 400th store in India. Operated through a joint venture between Seattle-based Starbucks Coffee Co. and Tata Consumer Products Ltd., the Starbucks-branded coffee chain continues to expand its presence across the country.&nbsp;Notably,&nbsp;the company also established its first-ever outlet in the Delhi High Court.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As part of its growth strategy,&nbsp;Starbucks aims to penetrate tier 2 and 3 cities in India.&nbsp;Additionally, it plans to introduce services such as drive-thru, airport outlets, and 24-hour store formats to cater to the diverse needs of customers.
