Café Delhi Heights (CDH) is rapidly setting foot in the country’s Tier-2 cities. Its latest outpost is Mohali, Punjab, where diners can savour its signature blend of global flavours, comforting classics, and warm hospitality.

Founded by brothers Vikrant and Sharad Batra, CDH’s footprint has extended to 48 outlets across 16 cities, each reflecting the lively spirit of Delhi combined with international culinary influences. The menu boasts crowd favourites like the Juicy Lucy Burger to Delhi-style chaat, European delights, pan-Asian bowls, pizzas, pastas, mezze platters, and Indian staples like Mom’s Butter Chicken with naan.

The new Mohali outlet, spread across 3,100 sq. ft., offers a seating capacity of 106 indoors and 11 outdoors. Its modern colonial interiors make it an inviting space to catch up with friends or enjoy time with family. Alongside the extensive menu, guests can look forward to a well-curated bar programme, offering timeless classics and inventive cocktails.

Speaking about the launch, Vikrant Batra, Founder, Café Delhi Heights, said, “We are delighted to bring Café Delhi Heights to Mohali, a city that beautifully blends tradition with modern living. With this new outlet, our aim is to create a welcoming space where people can come together over food, conversations, and experiences. We look forward to making CDH a go-to destination for the people of Mohali.”

The Mohali opening marks another milestone in Café Delhi Heights’ growth journey. With plans to add nine new outlets soon and a vision of reaching 120 locations by 2028, including international presence, the brand continues to expand while staying true to its philosophy of quality, creativity, and customer-centricity.

With 48 outlets across India and innovative concepts under its 2.0 expansion, IKIGAI and Sarava have established themselves as a preferred destination for all occasions, resonating with diners across generations.

Cafe Delhi Heights is set to expand its footprint across India, with plans to scale up to 50 outlets by the end of the fiscal year 2025 (FY25). The brand, which currently operates 46 outlets across 16 cities, is working towards an ambitious goal of reaching 120 locations and generating Rs. 5 billion (approximately $58.3 million) in revenue by 2028, according to a report by ETHospitalityWorld.

Founded in 2011, Cafe Delhi Heights has grown from a single café in Delhi into a well-known national chain, with a presence in key metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. The next phase of its expansion strategy includes penetrating Tier 2 cities such as Jaipur and Meerut, thereby tapping into new and underpenetrated markets. Alongside geographical growth, the brand is focusing on enhancing its menu and creating richer in-café experiences to cater to evolving consumer tastes.

In addition to expanding its core café business, Cafe Delhi Heights is also diversifying through the launch of several new ventures. These include Savara, a coastal dining concept; Ikigai, Iki & Gai, a culinary experience inspired by Japanese philosophy and aesthetics; Comfort Bakehouse, a gourmet bakery and delivery brand; and JLB (Juicy Lucy Burgers), a brand dedicated to gourmet burgers. Each concept is designed to reflect the company’s commitment to innovation while addressing varied dining preferences.

Reflecting on the brand’s journey, founder Vikrant Batra said, “As we commemorate 14 years of Café Delhi Heights, we reflect on a journey driven by passion, people and purpose. Our mission has always been to build spaces where food, warmth, and conversation come together effortlessly. The next chapter is about reaching new cities and communities while keeping our spirit intact.”

With its robust expansion roadmap and diversified offerings, Cafe Delhi Heights is positioning itself as a modern, multi-format food service brand that continues to resonate with India’s evolving dining culture.
