This year’s edition of UzFood attracted more than 11,000 trade visitors and featured over 30 international country pavilions, making it a truly global platform for food sector engagement. The India Pavilion stood out as a major highlight, showcasing the country’s rich culinary diversity and export capabilities.

The Pavilion featured an extensive range of Indian food products, including frozen halal meats, spices, ready-to-eat meals, and agricultural commodities, drawing strong interest from buyers, distributors, and food industry professionals across Central Asia and beyond. A key attraction at this year’s event was the Retail Centre, a dedicated space where organizers facilitated exclusive one-on-one meetings between exhibitors and major regional retailers—creating invaluable networking and business opportunities.

Participating companies under the Council of Indian Food Trade banner included several of India’s leading food exporters and processors, such as: Allanasons , Al Quresh Exports, Worldwide Panicle GI, Al Dua Food Processing Pvt. Ltd., Al Nasir Exports, Al Sami Agro Products Pvt. Ltd., International Agro Foods, Rustam Foods, Shri Shakti Associates, Synthite Industries Pvt. Ltd., …and many more.

Their collective presence not only highlighted India’s vast product portfolio but also strengthened bilateral trade relations between India and Uzbekistan. It opened avenues for future cooperation in areas such as food safety, innovation, technology exchange, and supply chain integration.

Notable participants from the frozen meat industry included Allanasons Pvt Ltd, HMA Agro Industries, Al Dua Food Processing Pvt Ltd, Al Quresh Exports, Fair Exports India Pvt Ltd, India Frozen Foods Pvt Ltd, Mirha Exports Pvt Ltd, Rustam Foods Pvt Ltd, Al Ammar Frozen Foods Pvt Ltd, and Marya Frozen Foods Pvt Ltd.

A highlight of UzFood 2024 was its well-curated theme, the Retail Centre, which provided a specialized platform for interactions between food manufacturers and buyers, retailers, and distributors. Organizers facilitated meetings between participants and leading retailers of Uzbekistan, allowing retailers to select exhibitors for 10-minute discussions based on product preferences in dedicated areas within the exhibition. This concept garnered significant interest and participation from both exhibitors and retailers.

His Excellency Manish Prabhat, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited UzFood and engaged with all Indian participants, assuring full support to the Indian embassy in promoting Indian food products in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, UzFood featured a series of seminars, workshops, and panel discussions on the latest trends and technologies in the food and hospitality industry, enriching the overall experience for attendees and participants alike.
